I dreamt about a church, it was a church that would only appear when the moon was up. It was beautiful, big onion domes like the Kremlin, all white with touches of blue and it had one area out in front that was a bunch of long, leaf shaped growths (perhaps sails? perhaps they were bug carapaces not unlike the shield the overmind in starcraft has) that were bright and colorful. Someone told me about the church and how it appears at moonrise (or was it at sunset and only was visible until moonset?). I felt I had to go there to forgive the sins of the people of the world. I ran like crazy through a strange town which was partly Germanic and partly like the little 'burb I live in. I reached a point where a woman was sitting in a collonaded patio next to a tall high school (well it was big and made out of brick) and I had to go to her to make her open up the bridges to cross the river which was part of getting to the church. I gave her a folded piece of paper that was pink/purple i! n color and she pulled a switch after much delibaration and a rope bridge, the kind that Indiana Jones cut up, barely came up out of the water. The neat thing was running across that bridge was easy even though the middle part was underwater. None of that slow slogging running that comes with dreams sometimes. I ran full tilt until I came to these rolling hills.
The light was beginning to creep up along the horizon and I could see the outline of mansions atop those rolling hills. These dogs came running down, I assumed they were hunting dogs (they looked like joy, rest her soul. all cinammon colored but not as thin and wiry. like a little more boxer mixed in) and they ran at me. One dog grabbed at my leg and wouldn't let go. I'm certain that I felt it in real life to the point I almost woke up but I resisted that feeling. The owners saw me and realized I was a pilgrim going to the moon church and came down to stop the dogs. I grabbed a shepherd's crook that was nearby and the dog on my leg let go. They knew if I was a shepherd, I wasn't a wolf after their sheep so they wouldn't bother me. It was against their training!, against what was in their blood. I ran until I got over to the moon church and got it. I remember it was dark and there was someone fat, pale and bald there who pointed me to a dartboard where I knelt and sat quietly for a few minutes. I had a feeling rush over me and I knew that I was done. I ran back over the hills, back over the sunken bridge, through the town until I realized the souls of Adam Weisshaupt (freemason who they allege was really george washington) and Astoria (character in a comic i read who resembled hhsb) weren't taken care of.
I spun around and ran back. I had to hassle the bridgekeeper to let the bridge up even though it was getting close to dawn. She acceded for some reason and I ran, I ran past the dogs, faster than they could run (I doubt I had the shepherd's crook) and by the time I reached the moon church I saw the sun was almost entirely up. I ran into the church past this old lady who was acting like a tour guide leading people in quickly because the sun was rising. The red and blue sails were being taken in, probably because the church was live. The sails did resemble a beetle's wings, moreso than sails. I went to the fat man who said I couldn't do a thing because the church was about to vanish. I bided my time talking with him, I knew I had to pray for those two people but I was also curious about what happened to the church when it wasn't under the auspices of the moon's rays. I think it just went to another part of the earth that was going to be touched by moonlight. Minutes passed and I was at this dark pool in the basement of the moon church. I said a few words and then got up in hopes that they would tell me I couldn't leave because the church was vanishing. It wasn't. As I started to leave it started to vanish and they moved me to the basement under armed guard 'for my own safety' I was told. It was a sic! kly institutional yellow paint. A bright light appeared at the end of the basement corridor where five steps went up. I turned away and tried to go back into the moon church. I woke up.
