Blessed are the victims of genocide for they do not face death alone and can be of solace to each other.

From my notebooks: June 27, 2003

The birds to the right of my lunch stairs are building a nest. They're the crowlike birds with the white markings on their back and wings. During the first break I sat there, watching them and smiling at their work for the little eggs they'll lay and the memories to come of tiny birds hatching, fledgelings trying to fly and eventually the nest lying empty through the winter. On Monday I'm going to bring in my hair that I've pulled out of my vent brushes so the little birds will have something soft instead of scratchy twigs against their wee bodies.

Right now I'm all wrung out from the last week and right now it feels like seeing those birds building a nest are the only happy thing that I experienced all week.

Well, maybe not.

During Smackdown there was a commercial for Jak and Daxter II which was unexpected and happy. I'm trying not to get my hopes up since the original Jak and Daxter was so good and avoid any disappointment should the sequel not live up to its predecessor. There's also Half Life II coming out in four months. Huff huff. Sadly it's going to be released on the XBox and most likely I'd have to buy a new PC in order to play Half Life II. Damn it.

The rest of the stuff written in my notebook for this day is just gaming stuff. New pokemon ideas and a short write-up of a superhero concept that I wrote about in a previous entry.

My Sunday

My Sunday was spent writing this down, levelling up my spoink and ordering Chinese food. Also waiting to see if Dee would log back in.
