I spent the better part of an hour bemoaning the fact that I had LOST MY PASSWORD for the administrator account for my laptop. I swear I didn't change it and everything remained the same. I took Spot out for a short walk and pondered my options while she sniffed and tried to bolt away from me. Well, gentle reader, it turns out that the password remained the same except for the fact that I changed the name "Administrator" to "Haakon". I discovered this after making a linux boot disk to change the password on the sam database and starting up with that device. Needless to say I had a hearty laugh and hugged Spot telling her how her poppa is an idiot.
