Second interview was good and a long one, about seventy minutes. Thank you letters were sent today to the Second Interview Job and two sets of thank you letters were sent to Plan B.
I fucking hate driving in New Jersey and New York. Moreso after getting into an accident on Route 22. My insurance from Colorado is still good and I told them I'm not officially living on the east coast yet and how I'll be driving back to complete my business but before I can drive back I have to get my car fixed for the trip.
I am tired, I feel awful, I'm stressing about money and I'm afraid there may be a bit of downtime when it comes to heptapod.org. Of course I'm speaking much too soon and being melodramatic but reckon I'll know something by Friday or Monday at the latest when Second Interview Job gets back to me.
On the bright side I may have a rental of a larger car which will help the move to Toms River. I'm hoping they'll say "The car in your insurance company's price range isn't available but we have this and we'll charge you the lower rate." This is par for the course with rentals from my limited experience. I hope.
As things go, gentle reader, I'm still looking for work. Inshallah I'll find work sometime very soon and well into February I'll receive earnest telephone calls from potential employers who will be let down gently when they hear about me having steady work.
Let us speak no further of this situation because I'd like to contemplate wearing my trousers rolled much like T.S. Eliot.
I thank you for your compassion and consideration of which I am wholly unworthy.
