The other day Lee told me that her friend's employer is hiring computer people. Getting out of my current job would be a welcome relief because I hate sales.

Right now it brings up too many things in my head to discuss it, even with Lee. Is this intentional or is it simply chance? Should I chance studying up on how to handle Office 2003 + 2007 then pass a tech test only to be told I'm not qualified and we wish you the best in your future endeavors?

Just feel so damned tired and overwhelmed now. I can not think straight.

Please to be noting striking out 'cold' makes it a proper haiku. Apologies for the offense on the popular social networking website.

My parents took me to Hawaii. I thought I was in California.

The dream started out watching parachutists on television. Mom thought they only fell 30 feet but the replay took three seconds to go from the beginning of descent until impact. Math showed me that their fall was about 100 feet.

Our plane lands and we're on the big island. I was pleased since it's not Oahu which is Tokyo in America. Spot is with me. Realize that the observatory is here. I call it Palomar which is astoundingly incorrect since Palomar is in California. Spot and I head off down the road towards Mauna Kea. I'm all excited because I'm going to see the observatories at its summit. Dad didn't want to go because he can't handle the altitude.
While hiking through the back country I remark to myself that I never knew there was someplace more beautiful than Colorado. After climbing through some trees I find the Rhode Island Express Train which goes into a tunnel and presumably heads to the top. The train's gigantic and blue with yellow details.
Instead I get into an automobile and begin my ascent. There are no pathways on the mountain itself just roadways atop scaffolds which circumnavigate the cone. Most of the trip is made of steep roadways then flat areas. Along the railing I see a cougar inching along and I realize she's stuck there. I pull off at a rest area, the cougar jumps down and hides under the car.
I keep asking people walking up the mountain if they know if the RIE goes to the top and get ambiguous or confused answers. Spot crawls under the car and she dashes out after a yowl because the larger feline is being naughty. Behind me is a green clearing with a steaming bubbling lake. Rest of the dream spent on the side of the volcano without ever reaching the top.
