Friday was quite a day. Four people were fired from Usury, Inc. because of the economic slowdown. I remain along with Red and the girl who wasn't in the office on Friday. Once again everyone received reassurances that there would be no more layoffs in addition to being told we would no longer have mandatory days off. Yours truly is the most senior loan processor in the department as the woman who was hired the same day I was hired was dismissed today.
I have yet to see how the collections department fared with the cuts.
Also the upstairs people were moved downstairs into our office, most likely to save on rent, and I helped move furniture towards the end of the day even though it's outside of my job description.
It appears that I completely pooched combat in the new World of Darkness and for a little bit I started taking the dissatisfaction of one of the players personally rather than trying to realize the player was tired, had to run around before coming to the game and maybe there's other stuff going on in the player's life.
Hopefully next time things will go smoother and everyone will be satisfied. The most important part of the game is ensuring everyone had fun.
There's some solace in the fact that I belong to two cats and my raddidge loves me.
