lol wut, i missed this day

Dan Simmons's novel Hyperion is a really fucking good novel.

The final tale, Remembering Siri, really had an impact on me. It's not the romance being shared with the other pilgrims but the whole idea of hell being other people.

One of the things I really want to do is get away from it all. People always ruin things and the penultimate events on Maui Covenant resonated with me. Honestly I don't want to spoil the novel because I'd like it if some of the individuals who maintain a social relationship with me would read the novel in the vain hope of rebuilding some common ground and nurturing the frostbitten fruits to health once again.

Eh, that's neither here nor there. It's 9 p.m. on Wednesday night and I'm accomplishing nothing by writing this and I fear it's going to be a rehash of yesterday's entry.
