Woke up around three in the morning on Friday. Part of it was anticipation of my morning commute and not wanting to be late. Funny thing is that when I checked my alarm clock I saw that the alarm wasn't set. So I went to the bathroom, cracked open a book and waited. As much as I want to write, my sentiment doesn't ring true when I try to equate this with Christmas morning.
Eventually I was able to force myself to sleep and 5:20 eventually crept upon me. I got dressed, put on my personal hydration system and began my journey. The ride was boring, I just headed east until I reached my job. It was uphill most of the way but my route was particularly easy since there weren't any steep grades until the final leg.
Reckon that I got underway around 5:30-5:35 in the morning and much to my surprise I pulled into the parking lot at 6:07 a.m.. Four miles in a half hour and I wasn't even exerting myself. My ride home took a bit longer. I left the building at 3:40 p.m., got underway about 5-10 minutes later and finally arrived home around 4:25 - 4:30 p.m.. I was exhausted and walked about two blocks but rode the rest of the way.
There's more stuff to be done as well.
