On Tuesday I bought seventy dollars worth of cat toys. Wag'N'Wash didn't have any kitty condos for Spot to jump in and explore when she's not busy making mischief.

Turns out that I really wouldn't see the difference between my current bicycle tires and road tires. Got myself a pannier rack and lights for my bike. Wednesday is scheduled for the installation of the pannier rack.

Tuesday evening left me with a feeling of melancholy. While driving home from dinner I was looking at the mountains which were hidden behind clouds which brought mist and rain all day. Made me wonder if there really was anything good and fine in this world worth fighting for and making our planet a better place.

My arm fell asleep on me while I was beating off this morning. True story. Of course according to Alan Moore all stories are true. Really fucking frightening experience and I really didn't enjoy the finish since I was so disconcerted by the situation.

The platypus patch didn't work because I was going too fast and was careless with one or two things. I count myself fortunate that the kind people at rec.games.roguelike.nethack helped me with my two errors. Basically I didn't follow the format with the attacks and since I was writing the patch under Windows I had the wrong kinds of slashes.

Wednesday, inshallah, I shall dive headfirst into seeing if the patch truly works this time around.
