Tuesday morning I saw Mercury for the first time in quite a while. Last time I know that I saw Mercury was back in February of 2007. It was very bright in the eastern sky. After I parked I ran upstairs and out the front of the building to see if I could still catch a glimpse of the first planet but either it had already vanished into dawn or the buildings across Academy and my vantage point obscured it.
Tuesday would've been much better had it been Wednesday.
We went into the bedroom and were soon joined by my mother and father. There was an invisible presence who was presiding over the occasion. The ceremony was simply taking raddidge's hand in my own. Nothing would be invoked and no words would be said at all. All of a sudden I need to relieve myself and excuse myself from the service.
When I return everyone's gone. Woo comes in finding me alone. "Too bad raddidge's not a she-male?" Her voice is full of unnecessary sarcasm. I look at her and reciprocate her enmity, "Yeah, too bad because I want to be covered in tranny jizz."
My mother and father return to the room. My mother announces that she and my father have purchased me a house for $20,000 USD. She continues on a diatribe about how she's disappointed in me, working a job that's fit for a twenty year old not someone who is nearly middle aged and living in a tiny basement apartment. The latter bit gets turned into this forlorn whine that I would hear when I spoke with my mother about how I no longer live in New Jersey and how I really have no desire to go back. Either way this encounter was summed up that once again my life is not up to her standards and I'm perpetuating failure.
I roughly push past the pair and leave without looking for raddidge. The train back to Colorado takes me parallel to Route 24 west.
