I may or may not have mentioned a news item that China is reserving the option to sell off its ownership of the US dollar to collapse our economy should the USA actively support or do nothing to stop the revaluation of their yuan.
Right now the Republic of the United States of America is entering a recession. Everyone is feeling the pinch, some more than others, but most economic forecasters are saying there will not be a depression and supposedly the forecast is a bit less than two years before our economy gets to baseline. I'm guessing it'll be decades until our economy reaches pre-George W. Bush levels.
Anyway I have a conspiracy theory. Right now our august lame duck President of the Republic of the United States of America George W. Bush is forcing a recession. A weaker dollar which is not backed by a strong market or oil, remember kids oil is still traded using USA dollars much to the chagrin of Europe, will be worth less should China go ahead and pursue "the nuclear option" and could potentially weaken the Chinese economy, the yuan is revaluated and perhaps there will be another revolution or the current government of the PRC will tighten the screws on their subjects to maintain the status quo.
tl;dr We're taking you with us, damn it.
Unfortunately everyone knows that our favorite 2.35GPA Harvard graduate doesn't have the acumen or balls to push this issue against a real adversary. Bush's raison d'être is to beat up weaker nations because they might have weapons when they didn't all along and try to appeal to the lowest common denominator by pointing at religion and the military as something which should be unquestionably patriotic and everyone else damn well better count their blessings that they're not being waterboarded in Guantanamo Bay.
To be positive I think such propaganda is a damned sight better than Hillary Clinton celebrating the idea of pumping out infants, doing it "for the children" and how she's the village idiot. Her totalitarian society will be represented by a great big retarded happy face unlike Bush's stark government which treats its citizens as criminals before being charged and indifference to the USA's soldiers.
And remember, Hillary and her husband got us into this economic quagmire with China or at least they exascerbated the situation.
