Staying in a hotel I set about exploring its hallways since it was dark outside. A few dead-end stairways later I had stumbled into a warehouse at the back of the building. Great machines which would put the steamworks of the late 19th century to shame, the kind which a child laborer could fall into and nothing more would be found than a few straggling bits of hair or chipped fingernails. Despite the sheer industry about me there was little to no noise which made me walk slower so my foosteps would not be heard by some night watchman.
Sitting centerpiece was a large white tank with red symbols. I think they were cyrillic. Chains rose into the darkness holding its small platform above a lower level which was normally unreachable so I leapt atop the tank and waited as it lowered to the next level.
Less than a minute later I was amidst several other containers labelled as being different types of water, lake water, pond water, distilled water and I realized I was atop a tank full of ocean water. At the fore was a strange sparking gadget that I discerned wielded the power of lightning. All the pieces came together and I realized that these waters would be mixed then repeatedly struck by lightning generating the primordial soup from which dinosaurs would be distilled, bred and slaughtered for their meat.
Not a fate I would wish upon anyone despite the irony of the atrocities perpetrated upon humble ruminants and fowl. Poor dinosaurs.
By the way, please think good things for me.
To be brief and a bit spoily, someone made a big deal out of nothing and it's causing me agita but damn it there was no wrong and people had better deal with people face to face rather than running to our fascist nanny state. Even writing this makes me anxious and I don't like that feeling. Hopefully this is enough of a nudge to have people consider thinking well of me.
I'm self-destructive.
The only time where I feel like I'm on a firm footing is when I'm in trouble because I only understand how to act when the heat is on. This latter bit only came out as I was driving back to work and I should bring it up on 7/8/08.
There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be to trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty.
— John Adams
Free government is founded in jealousy, not confidence... Let no more be heard of confidence in men, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitutions.
— Thomas Jefferson
