Spot made the acquaintance of a deer on Tuesday afternoon. While Spot was sunning herself and watching the wild critters explore the homestead's back deck a deer decided to come up and steal some birdseed. Everyone's attention was drawn when they heard the sound of Spot thwapping her tail against the plants and assorted stuff in that area of the living room.
The deer noticed Spot and sniffed the glass in Spot's general direction. I went to get my camera and one of raddidge's brother went to get his camera but by the time we were ready to take pictures of this encounter the deer had been spooked and wandered off into the field.
Also I don't know if I'm a prude but the sudden development of a romance between the protagonists of Singularity is really, really annoying. Maybe I'm jaded about sex, perhaps it's really boring straight sex or that it's just written by someone who is writing about the sex they'd like to have but damn it to hell I want a fucking story not a god damned romance.
I haven't figured out how to skip through mp3s with my recently acquired player. Seriously I'd skip through these bits because they're not interesting and come across as being forced (lol) rather than contributing to the story.
