Right now things are stressful for me. Work is slower than usual, work has been slow for the past five months. Five months! Current excuse at Usury, Inc. is "We're reorganizing but real soon!!!!!11oneone"
Despite the announcement there would be no layoffs someone was let go this morning. This goth chick ten years my junior with three kids who is still living at home. Of course she returned to work for one day after a three day suspension that Sourpuss told me about in confidence.
I haven't seen hide nor hair of the new upstairs guy in almost a month and I think he moved out or was evicted from his apartment. Last I saw him, he was bemoaning the fact that he was short on cash on Christmas Eve. I gave him twenty bucks in the spirit of the season.
The short and sweet of it is the fact that I'm not focusing on any of the good and I'm stuck looking at the bad. Any little imperfection gets magnified into bullet wounds or impact craters.
Bleh, I need perspective.
