Most times I sleep on my stomach. It's one thing to wake up with morning wood. It's a whole other thing to dismiss this phenomena because one thinks "All the bloods pooling there. What else is it going to do"?

As you may or may not know, gentle reader, every time it rains in these here parts the phone line always gets awful noise which means my meager internet connection begins to fail.

Wednesday evening I phoned Qwest, they say that my line is cut and that causes the noise. The rep says she'll test my lines, whatever that entails, and she'll get back to me if there's something wrong with the line.

I went next door to ask the new upstairs neighbor if she had troubles with her phone. She goes on and on about how her line always has static and line noise unlike my line which only acts up in inclement weather. Anyway she's a peach and she's going to call Qwest to get them to check her line.

Fuck, the hoops one has to jump through to get any service and not have people think that you're crazy.

Anyway if I get more of the same then I'm going to talk with the property manager and see if anything can be done about the telephone. I'd have second thoughts about getting DSL if the lines in this joint are bad.

A blue towel was hanging over the edge of my desk in the bedroom. I idly pushed it and revealed a black spider with gold accents clinging to the cloth. The folds hid the spider which meant it was no longer an issue for me. Later a disembodied voice was speaking to me. No, I don't recall what it was trying to convey in the dream.

Spot ran in the room and jumped on the bed staring at me because she needed to let me know something terribly important was happening in the other room. Reflexively I looked to the left at the towel and saw it was swaying by itself.

Skittering out the door was a considerably larger version of the spider I found in the towel. Her abdomen was the size of an orange as it exited my room. Before I could catch her and stop the eggs from hatching I woke up.
