Upon completing their descent there was another large cat entering the room which Spivak quickly tamed with a fortune cookie, of all things, and named Trinity. Her namesake being from a recent dream. G'wan and read I'll wait.
So Spivak bought out the little delicatessen across the way from the temple, threw a tripe ration at Trinity to increase her tameness and decided to check out the general store and sell off some stuff. Oh yeah, Spivak bought two spellbooks to add more magic to her repertoire.
Suddenly a brown apelike thing appears.
It's an owlbear. No worries, Spivak's accompanied by two large cats with vicious dispositions.
Spivak was crushed to death in Minetown. As you can see the cats were cats and did not come to Spivak's rescue. Of course Spivak didn't think of praying while in the clutches of this nefarious aberration.

Spivak never genocided any monsters, never polymorphed an object, never changed form and used no wishes.
#10 on the topten list is an incarnation of Kuresu who died in the Gnomish Mines from a boiling potion. Final score 36528.
Reckon in October I'll start a dungeon level a day again. Probably with a combat-oriented character class like caveman (exempt from penalties from cannibalism and eating dogs/cats [I still think that the samurai class should not be penalized for eating dogs and cats, was re: racist stereotype]) or barbarian.
Knight is too fucking goody-goody, all the monsters have to be awake when attacking and attacking a fleeing monster is a Bad Thingtm.
I'm already fixated on ascending a chaotic tranny dwarf valkyrie so I'll avoid that nonsense. My conduct monk is not an option and I've already ascended Kuresu the Samurai in 2005. Archaeologists, healers, clergy, rogues, tourists and wizards are too fragile for my tastes. Never had a desire to play a ranger in NetHack nor in regular Dungeons & Dragons.
Your feedback, gentle reader, is always encouraged and treasured by the staff of heptapod.org.
If I don't hear back, I'll just play an orcish barbarian named Grunt.
