Nothing of interest in this level. There is a floating eye which is very tempting. Kill a floating eye and eat its corpse will confer telepathy. Of course it's only safe to kill a floating eye if the character is blind or the floating eye is blind.

Intrinsic telepathy is only good when the character can blind themselves. One can't sense the minds of monsters while being able to see. An amulet of ESP is useful because it lets the character spot nearby monsters with brains.

At least the priest knows the monster detection spell which is quite useful but casting spells causes hunger and most times NetHack games end with death by starvation.

Level three isn't that interesting. I guess that the next level will have stairs which descend the Dungeons of Doom and another set of stairs which lead to the Gnomish Mines.

spot

Spot's company makes me happy. She sits in my lap, licks my nose then bites it really hard before thundering away.

My last trip to Wag'N'Wash netted a bag of lean kibble. I don't think it's working because I still fear Spot may become a barrelcat. Most likely I'm doing it wrong leaving a dish of kibble out all day in addition to delicious canned food once or twice a week.

The debate between Ron Jeremy and Craig Gross is simple. Craig Gross believes that anal gang bang rape videos are mainstream and corrupting minors. Porn is okay for married couples in moderation.

Ron Jeremy counters that kind of porn is a small, niche and sensationalist market. The debate was good natured, there was the giggle factor of hearing the terms "dirty sanchez" and "rusty trombone" spoken in public. The inside of the church was really warm and humid from all the bodies packed in there so I laid outside and listened to the piped debate from nearby speakers.

Only thing that I came away from the debate was completely off-topic. My camera sucks when it comes to taking pictures of people who are about 50 feet away from me. Or I'm just an inexperienced photographer.

First a preamble. It's a startling coincidence that gamer hint is an anagram of nightmare.

It's a brief nightmare but I did not sleep very soundly due to the nightmare. Jaybird decided to beat me up because I didn't own a home. Cassius was shouting at Jaybird to keep his lats tight, wrists vertical and other helpful hints.

I don't remember much else just that I wanted it to be over so I could take a piss. I kept trying to piss myself but it just wasn't happening. Turns out that I needed to take a wicked piss and the pressure was affecting my nightmare.
