Spivak the female, human priestess discovered a shop on level two. She bought scale mail and had her pet cat Spot steal some items. The theft was aided by her purchase of a magic whistle. Magic whistles instantly summon pets to a square adjacent to the character. I was reminded that priests tend to be relatively fragile and unlike other classes I will have to cultivate my pet to prevent an early grave.

There's good news and bad news. A blessed dark green potion ended up being a potion of invisibility. This means that Spivak is now permanently invisible which is a Good Thing ^(tm). Yet it means she will not be welcome in any shops until she finds a way to counteract her situation. Also being invisible she's not able to see herself yet but a potion or two, perhaps a lucky fountain will grant the see invisible intrinsic.
