One of the nicer things about this absence of emotions is the fact that I think, "Wow. I really should be freaking out that no one even mentioned gaming once. Gee, the game night was cancelled and really no one complained." Yet I'm just not really feeling it. Deep in the back of my mind I can hear my insane self rattling his steel door, shouting and saying the game's cancelled because everyone hates me for trying to kill myself and how I added more stress to lives that really don't involve me or require me as a human being. Jesus fucking Christ you're ignoring me I can hear you breathing and typing FOR FUCK'S SAKE ACKNOWLEDGE ME BECAUSE I **AM** YOU!!!"

"BASTARD!"

"BASTAAAAAAAARD!!! COCKSUCKING BASTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD!!!"

"FUCKING *WHAM* LET *WHAM* ME THE FUCK *WHAM* OUT OF *WHAM* Hearvmnggggg *whump*"

Tuesday can't come soon enough. My non-emotional mindset is saying in a dull mechanical monotone that everyone does hate me.

reading
So I've been reading books lately. Unfortunately none of them are the bible which is punishable by death. Fortunately I can claim that Dave Sim's "The Last Day" is pretty close to the bible except for the fact that it's even more batshit insane.

I picked it up for the sake of completeness. Sometimes I don't know if Sim is trying to embody Ayn Rand with these long, drawn out soliloquies or to show the effects of voluntary or involuntary incarceration. In Guys, Cerebus chose to stay at the tavern near the Wall of Tsi. In The Last Day, Cerebus is trapped in his room.

As a fan of Sim's work I have two questions that I'll pose for Sim.

anyway
raddidge came over on Sunday afternoon. We went to the Front Range Grill for lunch. Back home we finally beat Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and unlocked gauntlet mode. raddidge mocked me for being unable to defeat three umber hulks with the default Drizzt character.

Later on we took the telescope outside, she found Comet Holmes despite the relatively undark skies of Colorado Springs and the glaring streetlights. raddidge is really good. I spent about thirty to forty minutes looking for the Andromeda Galaxy to no avail. Sigh.

I did attempt some astrophotography but I need lots of practice to get everything in order. There's so much to keep in mind and juggle than focusing on an object, swapping out the eyepiece and dropping the webcam in then checking the laptop for the image.

We did view Capella which was very twinkly and multicolored. I blame this on the chromatic aberration inherent with refractor telescopes and the upper atmosphere being relatively busy instead of being full of calmness, gentleness and peacefulness. Anyway the comet was relatively faint but it was very fuzzy like a comet should be. I was an idiot and kept trying to focus it but there's no point in attempting to focus something that's already out of focus and forever shall be out of focus.

Also raddidge was fortunate because she received her birthday and Christmas gifts very early. Only because I have no way to contact her mom and say "LOL DONT BUY THIS K THX" and I don't want dupes to happen and these were items which were ~*~StArReD~*~ on raddidge's gift list. Then we used my police scanner, discovered that the Home Shopping Network or QVC can be picked up and she went home.
