Take a moment and remember those who are lost to you.

Take a moment to reflect upon the people you love in your life.

While waiting at the dentist's office I overheard a conversation between a seventh grader and an older woman. Schools have forced students to not wear costumes on Hallowe'en. The student said that it's not so bad because if someone pays a dollar they can wear a mask to school. The dollar goes to some cancer charity.

Spot and I went to Petsmart to pick up some litter. This was her first trip and she was fascinated by all the edible creatures. Did I mention that she sat in the child seat and didn't squirm or try to run away? Well she didn't. Frau Spots was a little disturbed by the barking dogs but none of them were cause for worry. Everyone remarked upon Spot's size.

I did look at the cats available for adoption because I do believe that Spot is a bit lonely. An internet imageboard advised me to find a cat who is about Spot's age and is sociable. One thing I need to remember is that any new roommate will be an indoor cat like Frau Spots.

Guess when I have a reasonable amount of time off, Spot and I will go and meet other cats who will be a lovely addition to our home.
