There's good news and there's bad news. First of all elmgrows has been promoted at his day job which means that the game will be moving to Saturdays. The good news is that it means on Friday Jaybird and I will be strength training twice a week throughout the month. Also Saturdays mean the potential for a longer game since maribou, as far as I know, does not have to work on Sundays. I haven't heard anything from Cassius about the potential for Saturday games. Finally there's the chance when raddidge does come down that it'll be on a gaming night and she can see Asbury Park by Night in person or simply go upstairs to read quietly in the Birdhouse library.

I forget what the bad news was but I don't think it was that important if it was bad news.

training the skill of strength
On Tuesday I had new motivation regarding the whole strength training program. First and foremost there are the health benefits of losing weight, being stronger and possibly living longer. Most times I'm dreading going to strength training but once I'm there I'm good and don't want to go back home just like a little kid who has to take a bath.

Now about my new motivation. When I started my job the company president's daughter was quite thin. A few years ago she left the processing department because she doesn't like the department manager and went to work upstairs pushing pencils or whatever daddy has for her. Plus the general manager told me in confidence that the company president's daughter doesn't like me much. No reason was given and I was at a loss since I never interact with the person.

I saw her today and man oh man oh shevitz the first thing that went through my head was "MAN THE HARPOONS!" Of course I'm one to talk since I'm tipping the scales at a corpulent three hundred and thirty pounds. Yet I'm making an effort with the strength training and altering my eating habits in order to get under three hundred pounds and hopefully reach the milestone of two hundred and fifty pounds.

My motivation is simple, lose weight while she porks up. Imagining every pound that I lose is being transferred to her. So there you have it.
