so yeah
With escalating gasoline prices and other circumstances I reckon my weekends are going to be free until October.
In Yer Dreams
What was noteworthy about this dream is the fact that this was the first time I recall ever having the sensation of smell in a dream. It's not a smell I want to be in the presence of ever again.

Basically I was wandering around an old neighborhood when I stumbled upon the local cemetery. Something horrible had happened and the cemetery had run out of gravesites. The owners decided they would park cars over already occupied graves and put new corpses into the cars. As I wandered through the graveyard avoiding making eye contact with the corpses I discovered that the funeral director had run out of cars and now bodies were being laid shoulder-to-shoulder over the plots. This is when the stench of death hit me.

Suddenly night fell and I was running back home to safety and my equpiment and supplies. Slow zombies were everywhere and I discovered the reason why they're so successful preying upon the living.

In addition to the preternatural silence of a zombie allowing them to sneak with absolutely no effort, the zombies also have an ability to mimic the voices of the dearly departed. Anyone who hears a zombie will hear the voice of one of their dearly departed even if the zombie isn't that person's corpse.

Folks were waiting in the shadows, hiding and being cautious but once they heard that voice and the forlorn call they'd run headlong to the zombie who would comfort the living before consuming them.

I was armed only with a six D cell Maglite that served double duty as a club and a light source. Worst part about my experience was the fact that I had to fucking fight the normal humans who were so thunderstruck by the illusion of the return of their loved ones and desperately wanted to defend the walking dead. It was terrible, I stumbled upon a scene were a loli was being consumed by a group of zombies and she was gasping and whispering "Thank you. Thank you, daddy" over and over again as blood flowed from her mouth and nose.

Fortunately those bitten and consumed by zombies would not return and join their ranks.
