At the very least I just need a monkey to do the installation work. Reckon the paint can be done at Earl Scheib on the cheap. Gotta find the fucking paint code for my car.
Maybe, maybe, maybe I can get non-professional help with installing the new parts.
Here's the situation from my perspective.
I'm heading south on Uintah. At 24th street I'm going to turn left so I can go to the bank. There's someone in a blue car who's turning left from the opposite direction. I see that she's stopped, give it a beat then make my turn. The guy was behind the car turning left and he decided at that time to pass her on the right just as I'm turning into 24th street. Boom.
I have a $46 dollar ticket for turning left with a mandatory court appearance to say "LOL I HAEV TEH INSURANCE SRY". Plus I'm going to see if they can knock down the points on the ticket by paying double or something. That's what I've heard of people doing back in New Jersey long before I made my journey to Colorado. Last time I had to show proof of insurance I sat through a bunch of traffic tickets where the judge changed the charge of turning left on a red, shielded light to driving with a broken headlight.
May 5th, 2007 is my day. Two days later I have my first week off of 2007. So much for having a day off in April like I was planning in the first place.
