In the year since I've discovered 1530 AM KCMN radio I've heard "I Like Jersey Best" five times. Five times! A song about the Garden State is getting more airtime in the Centennial State than Rocky Mountain High.

I've only heard Rocky Mountain High once on KCMN. One cold October morning while heading to work.

This amuses me and annoys me.

One of Bush's lesser villainies happened on early Sunday morning. Being really tired from the time change I went to work wanting to do as little as possible. Turns out that there was nothing but applications upon applications. The company would not spring for lunch for the workers which meant a 30 minute lunch. At 3 p.m. it was announced everyone's staying until 500 applications were done. Basically everyone stayed an extra hour after work.

Six o'clock struck, I dropped off my various ticksheets to better help management do whatever they do and got a look from the department manager. "It's six, it's okay to leave. Right?" She mutters something and I say "Hey, I just don't want to get in trouble."

Afterwards I checked with the general manager who gave the green light. I have no idea if the other processors followed suit.

Fucking stress.
