There's a reason for this and I do not want to discuss the particulars and the mechanics. Yet I reckon if there are so few half-elves they damn well better have something which makes them playable along with a drawback which may enhance the potential for roleplaying possibilities.
First I reckon that I'd have a half-elf roll for a psionic wild talent but I really don't believe that psionics really fit in with a medieval campaign.
Meh, I'll think of something.
The dodecahedron. This platonic solid is the most aesthetically pleasing of all the regular platonic solids. For those of you playing along at home, dodecahedrons are included with gaming dice made especially for Dungeons & Dragons. Sadly it only finds use because it's the die used for rolling the hitpoints of a barbarian.
For inane reasons I really like the number twelve. Reckon that one of the holy grails for my life is to create a gaming system that uses nothing but dodecahedrons or "d12s" as the cool kids call 'em.
Plus knowing of raddidge's sordid past, cheating at Magic: The Gathering and Risk among other diversions, I wouldn't want to take that risk of raddidge deciding to be a mischievous raddidge.
If I get off early on Thursday, reckon I'll see about getting my doctor and dentist stuff in order for my health insurance.
Or I'll make a pilgrimage to the James Brown Soul Center of the Universe Bridge in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and take pictures.
