There are three Asian buffets of note in Colorado Springs. Asian Empire Buffet over on Academy and Vickers is very good. There's a wide selection of vittles, it's easily accessible from 25 and Academy in addition to comfortable seating. Super China Buffet is also a decent choice, it's along Academy as well before Austin Bluffs and elmgrows's homestead. On Saturday night I went to Ultimate Buffet just off of Powers and Carefree on the east side. This place is very good but the seating is cramped plus the joint was jumping. The place was a bit more expensive than I was expecting ($27 for two) but there was a wide selection and everything was
hot and fresh.
Reckon I'll stick with Asian Empire because I hate driving on the east side and I rather save a few bucks and still get some Mongolian barbeque in addition to having a piece of meat from fish, frog, bovine, pig and fowl. Plus their Korean chicken is a bit better than the pepper chicken at Ultimate Buffet.
sad news
Atlanta, GA — Sad news has rocked the wrestling world once again. Chris Benoit was found dead with his family in Atlanta, Georgia. Triple H was quoted as saying, "He never drew a dime. I've been pushing Steph to release him!" Johnny Laurinatis could only say, "World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Chris Benoit and wish him the best in his future endeavors." When one of heptapod.org's reporters mentioned that Chris Benoit had died, the head booker knocked him out and ran away.
editorial
It is the opinion of the staff and editors of heptapod.org that professional wrestling is no longer worth watching on the television.
rinse me yard
A dream is a dream is a dream.
The past week I've been reading The Dark Beyond the Stars by Frank M. Robinson. It's pretty darned good and on Sunday night I kept reading until I figured it was way too late and it was time for sleep.
Unremarkably I dreamt the book that night. Most of the stuff was pertinent to the plot and revolved around events which I had already read rather than forging ahead through the story.
Sadly I don't recall much from the dreams. I'll be doing book posts the next two days because it's nice having a backlog of shit making heptapod.org less of a chore and more of a bore for you, gentle reader.
