Just wanted to say there is absolutely nothing attractive about a woman wearing stockings.

Nothing. Niente. Nil.

So I've been corresponding via email with Cassius. Mostly gaming-related stuff. He uses a hotmail account while I use my regular email account.

Every time I get an email from him it just runs together into a long, rambling mess of a single paragraph. We think my hosting provider's server is stripping out line breaks from his emails because it's hotmail. So I emailed myself with some cut and pasted text from gmail and yahoo and they both arrived intact rather than a horror of a run-on paragraph.

Interesthing thing is the fact that the yahoo email arrived instantaneously while the one from gmail took ten minutes. Ten minutes! Anyway I requested that someone, anyone, who has a hotmail account would email me at my real email address so I can see if it's antipathy between hotmail and heptapod.org.

Sure I could start a free hotmail account but hotmail sucks. The old spivaks@hotmail.com is long dead just like the old heptapod@hotmail.com account.

Right now I'm reading two books at a time. Phytosphere has been designated as a work-only book. So far it's okay, at certain times I really don't want to hear about people surviving a disaster and wish the tale would focus more on the race between the scientist brothers (one's a recovering alcoholic, the other is a nobel prize winning golden boy) to see who will destroy the big dumb object. At home I'm reading The Dark Beyond the Stars. I'm only up to chapter three but it's a decent read so far.

Someday I'll get off my ass, find some cajones and really write a story and submit it somewhere so I can have a framed rejection letter.
