So I forgot to update for Wednesday. My evening was spent at the Birdhouse, watching Jaybird grind on Final Fantasy MCMLXVII, transcribing vampiric discipline stuff for Asbury Park by night and various smoke breaks where I heard more about Vampire: The Requiem.

Now I like the fact that Jaybird's been bitten by the RPG bug, I'm a bit distressed that it appears everyone is monomaniacal about gaming. Yes I've made a committment with Asbury Park by Night and I'm going to stick by it until the bitter end. That didn't come out right.

As for me, I'm tired and feeling my age and weight. I wish I could get excited about maintaining heptapod.org but damn it I'm going to continue with this site until the bitter end.

That didn't come out right.

Reckon it's a phase and soon I'll be writing more. Just right now I'm more concerned with work, ensuring continued income, getting my car paid off before the loan would actually mature and working on Asbury Park by Night. Honestly that's my life right now. The creative aspect of my game fulfills me but I would like to do more with my life.

Perhaps I oughta enjoy what I have, make the most of it and use it as a way of getting ahead in life.

by the way
Jaybird does make Vampire: The Requiem sound interesting and I'd like to play in his game. I sincerely hope he will actually run a game because once Asbury Park reaches its conclusion I'll be pretty burned out on running games for a while.

So much that I can't even think of a decent superhero scenario. Plus I have no idea how to parlay the current game into a short story. Fuck I can't remember the term for fiction that's loosely based on real-life events.

Time for a shower and bed.
