Tuesday morning was a pain in the ass. Spot kept trying to wake me up about two hours from dawn. Even after I covered myself with my grandmother's teal afghan, our unspoken message to back off and leave me alone, she kept nuzzling and prodding me again and again. Eventually she gave up and I heard her jump up on the ledge by the bedroom window. That's when I got up to see what was the matter.
Spot jumped down and weaved between my legs leading me to the bathroom. She walked in and stared at the toilet then looked back at me. The floor was dry, the towels were on the floor and nothing of interest was happening in there. Again she put her paws on the toilet lid and looked at me. I thought I heard an unusual gurgle but I can not be sure.
Anyway I went into the kitchen, got her some kibble and went back to sleep.
Suddenly I realized that it was kinda bright in my bedroom. I checked the alarm clock and saw that it was 7:49 a.m..
Aw shit.
When I hit the light on Platte by the Subway and the car's clock said 7:57 a.m. I knew that I was going to be late. So I parked, got lunch from the trunk and went inside to move my bowels. I didn't clock in 'til 8:07. Now I didn't clock in and go to the bathroom because management hates that so I figured I'd be seven minutes late and able to focus rather than be a few minutes late then take a shit.
Why can't Spot wake me when it's time for work instead of for toilet goblins?
First I got two quotes from two internet sources and it amounted to expensive and unreasonable. Plus I'm surprised that this color scheme hasn't been done in the past. So I'm going to be buying a set of regular black dice with white pips which will be cleansed of their white paint and the pips will be repainted bright green.
I just want to get custom dice that are my own.
