Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Tennessee and Washington state have passed legislation that opposes the RealID act. Alabama, California and North Carolina have aggressively pursued compliance with the RealID act.
The situation is quite egregious but it turns out that the federal government is going to require visitors to national parks, NATIONAL FUCKING PARKS, to have photo identification that is in compliance with RealID or a fucking passport. As you may or may not know the Bush administration has made the act of acquiring a passport for a citizen of the Republic full of more red tape because of Osama bin Laden's long shadow.
Twenty eight percent of the Republic is against RealID. Here's hoping that more states come out against this legislation. Apparently the federal government has no faith in the state governments with the issuance and identification of tax paying citizens.
Ah, who cares. Does anyone believe Wikipedia?
