Thursday I came home early and did absolutely nothing which was marvelous but it left me feeling all tuckered out. Later in the evening I discovered that Asbury Park by Night is being hosted over at Cassius's place and he will be making chili. Plus my kitchen has been tidied up to the point that I can cook once again.

Sadly I remembered that I'm supposed to bring doughnuts to work on Friday which means I have to get up earlier than usual. In case you were wondering the past week I've been getting up at a tardy 7:25 a.m. rather than the usual 7:15 a.m..

"This is madness!" I hear you, gentle reader, muttering under your breath.

My reasoning is simple. When I get up at 7:15 a.m. and do the morning routine by the time I'm out the door it's about 7:30 a.m. which means I dawdle on the way to work. I prefer to be on the road by 7:38 a.m. or 7:40 a.m. or 7:42 a.m. at the very latest.

My Saturday's jumbled up because I have to get another estimate by my insurer's guidelines. Once that's done, I'll phone them and see what needs to be done. Who knows I might get lucky and the shop will take care of the administrative stuff.

Also raddidge threatened to come down and visit me. I can finally watch The Quiet Earth with her. Also play Okami while she watches because raddidge likes to watch.
