Jaybird and maribou have been asking me if I wanted to tag-along when they go to the state fair on Saturday. Fortunately I was adamant and declined each gentle invitation.
Friday night my ankle was starting to act up just like in early July. When I left the Birdhouse, I was already babying my right ankle. I slept very lightly due to the pain.
I woke on Saturday morning when the pain was too much. First I trimmed my beard. Next I put some Biofreeze but that didn't help my situation. Shit, it didn't even get warm! An hour later I decided I wanted to get a doctor's opinion before my anxiety started pushing me closer to the edge. $164 dollars later, I learn that I'm a pronator and need arch support. The pain lay in the fact that one of my tendons is injury prone. Right now I have anti-inflammatory medicine, 30 capsules, called indomethacin. The doctor also said I might have a slight case of gout.
Fortunately my blood pressure is only a little high considering my bulk and the nurse was surprised at how flexible I am when she took x-rays. One of the x-rays was of the inside of my ankle which required me to lay it flat on the table. She remarked that most people have to lay on their side while I was able to do it and remain flat on my back.
It's not a bad body, just that I abuse it so much.
It's kinda nice having some stuff already written so I don't fall under the crunch of "Gotta update!"
