My parents's house is seriously overpriced right now.
There aren't any homes in my old neighborhood or north Jersey that are under $300k.
Down in Wildwood the local access channel is running an infomercial for seaside condos. They say all the condos are $399,000 which is the cheapest possible price along the shore and keep repeating how it's a buyer's market.
This is depressing. I give up there's no way I could move back to New Jersey.
Even if I did consider moving back to New Jersey should I win the lottery (laugh track) then I'd search so very hard to get the best and most reasonable price. Even for something as simple as a pied-à-terre.
Gas in south Jersey along Route 49 is $2.09 for regular.
Cheapest gas near my folks's place was $2.26. The average gas price was $2.43 for regular.
Colorado's gas prices are still around $2.69 a gallon for regular.
