There are a shitload of tattooed and pierced people in Colorado Springs. At one time Wildwood, New Jersey held the record for having the most motels within a single city. Would the same achievement apply to Colorado Springs with the piercing and tattoo parlors? They're popping up like mushrooms and strangely enough they're persisting in those storefronts.

Anyway it makes me think that Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas are a few red cunt hairs away from becoming a third world country.

hallucinations
Sometimes I'd get these strange bouts of psychedelic hallucination. For an hour or so it'll become impossible to see because amoebas of orange and blue are swirling and pulsing with light on the surface of my eyes. Sure if I blink and force myself to focus I can see but most times I'm blind and completely oblivious to the visual world.

These visions give no euphoria or any mystical insight. Just irritation.

INSIDE THE GAME MASTER'S STUDIO
One of my surprising discoveries as a game master has been regarding plots.

Asbury Park by Night has a story arc that influences the entire story. During the last couple of years where I was working on this project, I worked from the bottom-up creating the details or trees in the forest. Once I realized my dream of running the game it turns out that it was probably better to work from the top-down, planting the forest and then taking a walk through it.

Jaybird has an interesting take which I appreciate because it means he's understanding and will be forgiving of any missteps. "You start out in Los Angeles wanting to go to New York and you end up in Tampa before heading to Chicago and then New York." Had I remained strict with the story components there wouldn't have been flexibility or any possibility that the world would live.

Now I look at this world and how the players are stirring things up and see all sorts of strange things churning up to the surface that I never gave a second thought to during the long creative phase.

Now this is not a condemnation of micromanagement or having any kind of outline. One can create a world and its details then put the details on the shelf when they're needed. Most times they may end up not doing the job originally intended by the creator.
