A dream that was in a nightmarish setting but it wasn't entirely a nightmare. Just things happened that left me saying "Oh" and shrugging at the situation.

I was underground and there were these black dogs in pursuit. These weren't your ordinary, run of the mill nightmare hounds but something special. Their eyes were these narrow slits. No ears but I don't know if their ears were like seals or if someone had shorn off their ears. Each dog was pure black, not some dark shade of brown or whatnot but true black. Finally the most terrifying part were their mouths. Lips were pulled back tight revealing a mouth full of fangs like a crowded alligator maw. I could see gums because the lips were drawn back so tight.

During the chase I learned that the dogs were altered by some malevolent force but they were still dogs. Well I stopped and waited for them to tear me to bits. The dogs just hung their heads down and did their best to be friendly despite their horrifying appearance.

Eventually I made my way up and found myself on the main floor of a shopping mall. Above me the ceiling was an unending window letting in startling amounts of sunlight. There were a few other people along with one person who must've been famous until he shaved his head and his head was gleaming like a cue ball.

Actor guy was wearing fatigues and had various bags that looked awfully needful and important for survival. I was envious. He was wandering around and didn't seem to be that healthy. Soon I puzzled out that he was slowly turning into a zombie. Of course it meant he was dying but he was becoming a zombie. The remains of his hair started turning gray like his skin while eyes sunk deep into the skull.

Upon the completion of his transformation he charged at me. I ducked, grabbed his legs and tossed him over the railing to the dogs waiting on the lower level.
