One of the safesty ways of viewing the sun is with scissors. Someone showed me that one has to hold one of the scissors blades up to the light and squint towards the sun. With some practice, the sunlight is dimmed and the sun can be sefely observed with the naked eye. When I tried this method, I saw that there was an object orbiting near the sun's south pole.

This technique only works in dreams. Do not attempt this in real life.
