Either Wednesday seriously sucked as a day or I'm solar powered. A little before noon there was rain and snow, sleet as it's called back east, as the day settled down with a gray cast.

All fucking morning I was stressing about being able to leave work early. Busted my ass for most of the morning then when there was no work left, I asked to go home and got an ambiguous answer. My anxiety stemmed from seeing people being sent home early because work is slow while my request is turned down because I pick up the slack for all the lollygaggers.

Tuesday had me lost in a reverie at the thought of leaving early from work, laying in the sunshine and reading a book. Shit, it was inching towards the seventies earlier this week and now it's cold. Plus I was really happy laying on the grass and quietly reading a book.

Wednesday got worse when I arrived at King's Chef hoping to get lunch and they had just closed. So I settled for Carl's Jr. and Dunkin Donuts.

Plus all my get-up-and-go has gotten up and left the building.

The day wasn't a total loss. As I was waddling out of Carl's Jr., I saw there were two high school chicks making out on the corner of Platte and Nevaada. Too bad I didn't have a camera. Fortunately I had a car horn!

Nascent lesbos don't like having attention drawn to them and they gave me a nasty look as I drove by honking like a drunken frat guy.

Jeez, it's not like I climbed up the trellis outside the bedroom window and raised a ruckus. If it's public then it's fair game. Plus I was showing my support.
