Despite the fact that I've been getting more sleep, despite the heat, in addition to taking my multivitamin I am still prone to anxiety. The anxiety seems to be under a tighter rein.
Let me explain.
Wednesday morning I walk out to the car and before I step off the patio I discover there's a smashed bottle of beer under my feet. This is where I figure my anger sublimates into anxiety. Since I'm five minutes late, I just drive to work and put the minor incident out of my head.
The situation nags at me at least once an hour and come eleven a.m. I'm telling myself to shut up and be quiet. Thankfully lunch time rolls around quickly and I'm home again for the one o'clock hour. Spot's fine, everything's fine. I grab the broom and dustpan, clean up the mess and walk across the street to see if the frat house's dumpster had empties or cases of St. Pauli Girl. No dice.
Spot's leeching away my wakefulness so I must sleep. Of course I'm uploading this before succumbing to tonight's rest.
