Sunday was a lazy day. After all the hectic action on Saturday, food shopping, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, feeding and watering Spot, going to see a really crappy movie and dinner at Bambino's I needed a lazy day. raddidge and I beat Gauntlet: Dark Legacy together while listening to one of the Howard Stern replays on Sirius. Our game took a total of 16 hours and 30 minutes. raddidge also made breakfast which was really, really nice of her.
The boston terrier from across the street got loose. Since Spot was lounging in the laundry room with only the screen door between her and a harsh, unforgiving world her tail became an enormous bottle brush at the sight of her nemesis. She and this little dog had met before in 2005. I carried him home and raddidge soothed poor, terrified Spottles.
On Sunday night, we watched a little video of fountains made out of bottles of diet Coke and Mentos, walked to 7-11 for one lottery ticket then said our goodbyes for the evening. Now I have to take a shower and get ready for bed.
Some work anxiety has crept up behind me and I'm trying to reassure myself that it's all in my head. Just not going to talk about my work anxiety because that's about as useless as when I used to rant about Deidre on here. Hey, at least they (appear to) like me at work and I'm seeing some manner of profit. Of course it's like me as a worker not a person.
