Despite the content of the rest of this entry, I'm upset about the way the day ended for me.
Compleat Games and Hobbies came through! They were able to get me a copy of Creatures and Cultists! I hope I can finagle raddidge into playing once I read through the rules.
Now if only the HP Lovecraft Historical Society would finally send out the copy of the Call of Cthulhu silent movie and my Miskatonic University mug. Hopefully that stuff will arrive next week.
There, I spoiled my little surprise for raddidge. She's never really expressed any interest towards the works of H.P. Lovecraft but I do want to show it to her. Hopefully she might like it.
raddidge says, "I had a really bad nightmare last night. Worst I've had in quite a long time. It was night and raining very hard. I was in the house (here) along with my mom and a "brother conglomerate" (which means it was both brothers combined into one person). Pitch black outside and the windows had those crystal streams of rain running down them like someone was spraying the windows with a hose."
raddidge says, "I started hearing thumping noises on the roof like someone was pounding around and ripping off the shingles and lumber and would eventually make it through the ceiling. I realized there actually was someone on the roof; some insane guy who was wearing blue overalls and a white tee shirt."
raddidge says, "I started to panic and ran to my mom's room to tell her what was happening. Then I went to the window which is by the fireplace and they guy had jumped down from the roof and was standing outside the window. He had two cats in his hand, whom he was torturing. I became very angry and tried to think of where we kept a handgun so I could shoot him in the shoulder."
raddidge says, "After a bit, he jumped back onto the roof and started ripping it apart again. For some reason, I wasn't afraid that he'd come in through the doors or the windows, only the roof."
raddidge says, "Then I woke up and felt the dread lingering from the dream."
raddidge says, ""Yes, you may post that if you'd like."
