Looks like I'm going to be moving out of this old place. The neighborhood has gone to shit and I've had enough.

Back on Friday raddidge's driver side window was bashed in. Nothing was stolen, the window was just bashed in. Monday morning I discovered that someone had come into the backyard and stole my bicycle's front fork. Thank goodness I had the presence of mind to securely lock up my bike at night.

I'm on edge. The neighbors who attend Colorado College are nothing but trouble. The school washes their hands of their student's shenanigans because it's not happening on campus. Plus I'm next door to a meth clinic which doubles as a place where people go for their court-mandated psychotherapy to avoid going to juvey or worse.

When I got home I spoke with Olympics Guy and he told me that he's leaving once his lease is up in May. Hearing that added to my momentum to leave this place. Olympics Guy states that he doesn't like the direction that the area is taking and he's had his fill. Plus he's annoyed at the clinic's patients blocking or parking in his driveway. Pretty much the big cheese at CHC, a.k.a. the meth clinic, shrugs his shoulders and says there's little he can do about his patrons.

Later I spoke at length with my parents, let Jaybird know about the situation and contacted one of raddidge's brothers seeing if they might be able to find time sometime in June when I'm moving out of this place.

my bike
Right now I reckon I'm looking at at least $180 to fix my bike with a new fork, new caliper for my disk brake and a new brake cable since that was cut.
raddidge would be proud (i hope)
After raddidge's driver side window was bashed in, she asked if I could find any good in the situation. Eventually I had one or two things. While I was driving to Criterium I decided to think of something good.

I might end up with a larger apartment, new neighbors who will be quieter, away from the undesirables going to school on Mumsy and Dadsy's money at Colorado College to play queer for a year and gain their Mrs. degree and finally there might be better reception for my satellite radio!

What's the bad? No more free cable.

Right now I'm planning on staying within a 2 mile radius so I'm really close to Jaybird and maribou. They're very important to me and they remain my emotional support structure. I hope it's not to their dismay.
