Everything in my life seems to have settled and I am content. As usual, work sucks so I won't go on about it.

One of my co-workers needs someone to take over her apartment lease. So far it sounds pretty good but I am cautiously pessimistic because I don't know if this means I'll owe her or anything. Also I asked another co-worker if she knows anything about foreclosed houses since that would be another viable avenue. This weekend I plan on going to check out a few more apartments hopefully finding something suitable for me.

The place I checked out last weekend seemed alright but I was taken aback that there was mandatory cable. TV isn't worth my money. At best it's a device where I can watch videos.

Spot's watching a a video right now. Last Sunday raddidge brought over a kitty DVD and she's watching it on loop.

Okay, I've gone long enough without trimming my beard. No, I don't have a hairy bib but I reckon it could be considered to be pretty darn close. At this point my beard has become more of an annoyance rather than a fashion statement. Also if I'm going to look at new apartments and look for a new job I oughta put my best foot forward, eh?

For any of you who may have been worried, my hair is going to remain streaming, gleaming, not-flaxen but waxen right down to there hair.

The other day, I received email confirmation that my payment was received for attendance to Genghis Con. Reservations have been made at the hotel. raddidge and I will be arriving on Friday and leaving on Sunday. I am annoyed that the convention starts on a Thursday.

Plus the two Call of Cthulhu games are fucking booked! At least I got into one of the HERO games and another one which uses Magic Eight Ball rules in addition to the biggest game of Fluxx evar.

raddidge has contained her enthusiasm and states she'll pay as she goes for various games if she chooses to participate in any games.

Only one more week then Genghis Con and my vacation.
