You know, after all has been said and done about my car it sure as heck runs a damned sight better than it had been since I acquired the vehicle back in 2004. Here's to a long life for my car and better gas mileage.

On a less interesting note, I have a horribly painful crick on the right side of my neck. Icy Hot is nowhere to be found in my apartment.

After I picked up the car, I drove twenty miles to see how it held up and performed after the automotive analogue of open heart surgery. One of my destinations was my bank and its ATM. Instead of going down 21st Street I turned on some side street well down Uintah and wandered around the back streets. When I turned a corner I was faced with a scene that was directly out of my dreams of Rainy Mountain. Must remember to take raddidge down this street when she comes down for the weekend.
In Yer Dreams
A short dream, presented for your consideration, gentle reader.

There were two young girls who were pestering me to join them. They had an adventure in mind and wanted to bring me along to blow my mind or some such bullshit. I was too large to get into their vehicle but when I did squeeze my fat self into the back seat I eventually shrunk to fit. They kept telling me that I should read a magazine which has a cover made out of the chocolate of orange M&Ms. For those of you playing along at home, orange M&Ms are eaten for good luck. Outside it was raining like crazy.

Later they dropped me off at home. Hopefully they realized their journey was pointless and I was just bored and cold. Home was my home back in New Jersey. My mother was remodelling the place, the walls were painted white and she had installed some stuff on the walls. She took lengths of cork which were three feet wide and as high as the ceiling and put them on the walls. There was a three inch gap between the cork and the wall. Within the gap were lights that shone out from the space. Whatever you want to call these adornments, they were spaced evenly throughout the house and its hallways.
