Wasn't New Year's Day yesterday? I'm not talking Chinese New Year but the Julian New Year celebration. Where the fuck is the time going?

I miss rain.

I shit blood on Tuesday.

Well there are three places I found on the internet which have available places. Once place is east on Monument and the neighborhood seems pretty nice but I didn't look inside the place. Another place is on Platte and it's closer to my place of employment and I could still get to the Birdhouse. Finally I contacted what I figured was the best place I found on the internet and it looks like it'll be $100 more a month than what I'm paying here. I'll be checking it out on Saturday morning.

Come Sunday, I'll pick up the Gazette and see what apartment listings are available.

Lastly I made a choice which raised my anxiety. The pressure from raddidge and, to a lesser extent, my mother had me checking out HUD's website and seeing what's necessary for first time home buyers. Mostly the down payments are frightening me since I want to have a cushion of savings to avoid any unpleasantness and be prepared for rainy days. All I hear are horror stories of people who have homes but absolutely nothing in the way of savings so they're basically living from paycheck to paycheck.

Right now I'm going to table this stuff and see what the weekend brings me.
