On Friday night when I drove to the Birdhouse my car was making funny rumbling noises like something might be dragging on the ground. Understand that the streets are still covered in snow. Okay the side streets are still covered in snow. Main drags are covered in packed ice or sandy ice.
Once I pulled away from the Birdhouse the ABS and brake idiot light turned on. Here's hoping it's just snow fucking with the car, giving it a false error and once things warm up everything will be right as rain.
Perhaps I'm being overly hard on myself or simply self-conscious but I believe the game was a disaster. The optimist in me says that I'm simply being a control freak and not going with the flow. The pessimist is screaming that the new player is being polite and won't return and the Birds are going to be disappointed in me. Fortunately I believe the latter to be a fabrication of my anxiety.
Time will tell.

What stood out from the dream was her revelation that back in high school she did a few amateur jailbait films for weed and all she had left were a few creased publicity stills. I thought it was hilarious because the publicity stills were really, very eighties with strange outfits supposed to titillate in bright colors made popular by Madonna like pink and the ever-lovin' #00FF00 as featured at heptapod.org. Unfortunately the only picture where I could see anything of her featured her wearing a four inch wide pink belt and nothing else. There was no way that I could say I was aroused because I was laughing so hard in the dream.
