raddidge is coming down on Friday night. We're going up into the mountains to get raspberries from her secret berry patch.

boring ideas

I wouldn't know the first place too begin, but I reckon going around and asking the managers of all Conoco stations in Colorado Springs why they're always the first to jack up prices, the last to bring them down and why they're always significantly higher than the competition.

Plus there are the questions for people who actually frequent Conoco. Jaybird and I went for a drive and I saw up on Platte, before Powers, there was a Conoco shilling $3.03 for regular. Regular. Across the street, 7-11/Citgo was about eight cents less than the Conoco. Yet there were people filling up at Conoco.

the date that never was

Five minutes after I got in the door, undressed and fired up the computer there's a rapping on my bedroom window. Jaybird was heading out to Best Buy to pick up V for Vendetta. So I got dressed again, waddled upstairs with my dinner and went out for a drive.

What did I learn on this drive? World of Warcraft sounds awfully interesting. Fortunately and unfortunately, I don't have enough RAM and my processor speed is too slow. Gas prices are ridiculous. There aren't any good movies in theaters. No wonder why movie studios are bitching and moaning about losing money because they're constantly producing crap and expecting people to pay a premium price and fork over exorbitant amounts for overpriced concessions.

Vampires without the fortitude discipline gain a dot of fortitude for every dot of stamina, rounding down. This fortitude is rolled at difficulty eight rather than six. Once a vampire buys fortitude, that bonus goes away and the vampire must rely upon their purchased fortitude. For those of you playing along at home, fortitude allows vampires to resist aggravated damage from other supernaturals, fire and sunlight.

Stunning rules. I don't know if this is already implemented in the World of Darkness rules. If you hit someone with enough damage, aggravated or normal, that it matches or exceeds the target's stamina after they attempt to soak then the target is stunned. Stunned means the character doesn't get to act the next turn. I'm thinking this may be a bit extreme and just make it so the character goes dead last. Stunned means the character has to restart any celerity.

If a player decideds mid-game to change character, the current character is permanently removed from play and the new character is introduced and socialized with the current group. If the new character doesn't work out, tough shit.

My sleep on Tuesday was not sound. Sometime in the middle of the night I farted so hard that it woke me up. This is fortunate because I waddled to the bathroom to inspect my underwear then realized that something was happening with great urgency. Seconds later, a torrent of foul fluid was geysering from my ass for a minute.

In Yer Dreams

My basement apartment was more like a basement than an apartment. By basement, I mean that it was dark with wood panelling and a bar in place of my waking life kitchen. I had a visitor, the former resident who was an aryan strongman. Sadly he lacked bilateral symmetry because his right side was extremely muscled while the left side was atrophied and useless. I learned that this guy had been a firefighter who was called to duty overseas in Afghanistan then Iraq.

Outside I ran into Olympics Guy. He was accompanied by an enormous black dog. Reckon it was a Newfoundland dog. Ben was big but this dog was huge and twice as lazy. Olympics guy complimented me on my arm hair saying it was the best representation of manhood anyone could ever want on one's body.
