Reckon I might take some time off during August from heptapod.org to recharge my batteries. I'll stick with the posting only dreams bit or of something really big happens in my life. It'll only be for a week or two so don't worry, gentle reader. Plus if I get any good astronomy photos or any bad astronomy photos then I'll share them with you, gentle reader.

Monday night was unreasonably warm. Even laying uncovered on my bed did not lend any respite from the heat. Now I'm probably to blame for cooking earlier in the evening raising the temperature in my apartment by heaven only knows how much but five hours after the stove and range were shut off, it was still warm.
So I dragged out the swamp cooler that I bought one hot night back in 2002. Reckon it cooled things down but the humidity tripled to the point that I was having trouble breathing during the night. Eventually I shut it off and waddled into the living room around 3 a.m. to sleep the rest of the night. Spot didn't join me.

He stoned Asmodeus, killed Juiblex and now he's gone to visit a temple dedicated to Loki in the hopes of maxing out his luck and getting good gifts from sacrificing corpses. raddidge logged in when I began the sac-fest so I saved the game for later like so much bubblegum upon the proverbial bedpost.

Someone at work is in deep trouble. I know it's not me. Upper management was reviewing the invoices for the stalker program and discovered that someone had used the sex offender search. Everyone got an angry IM demanding whoever was responsible to say something or things will get worse.
I closed the window and ignored it. As the week progresses, more news will be posted exclusively at heptapod.org.
