My weekend with raddidge wasn't as short as I was expecting in the first place. Her mom's birthday was this weekend. Also Monday is when various plans from to fruition.

So I didn't mention this minor stuff. Apologies to you, gentle reader (PBUH). The mountains have so much character. On Wednesday the sun shining on the eastern face of Pike's Peak lending a luminous effect to the snow. This is magnified by the darker clouds looming behind this mighty mountain majesty.

The next day there were lots of low-laying clouds. Foothills and mountains alike had their heads lost in the mists. If I was a bird, I'm sure it'd look like an archipelago in an alien, white sea. It's something very simple and can be taken for granted but I am always fascinated and cheered by the phenomena.

In Yer Dreams
For lack of imagination and inertia, I think I was in rainy mountain last night. What confused me was the fact that it wasn't raining there. I had gone to recover my bicycle which had been stolen and left in an alleyway. Turns out that the wheels had been manhandled and were warped by some neanderthal's arms. While pushing it back I came upon a cross street. A black, wrought iron fence completely blocked the right turn down that way. Folks were standing in line in front of the only door through the gate. Found out that they were in line to see V for Vendetta.

This old bar had been converted into a movie theater, the booths had been altered so people could face the screen and have tables for dinner and drinks. One of the gimmicks there was the light only came from the screen, never from an overhead lamp or flashlight. Even when the movie wasn't playing the projector was sending flickering light against the screen.

Later everything fell apart and there was some plot about a mall.
