Golem, golem, golem, I made you out of clay.

Welcome folks to the Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis Hour.

NO YOU'RE DOING IT ALL WRONG

Meanwhile, when last we left our intrepid raddidge she was talking about how standing builds strong bones and laughing at me for sitting down on the grass.

How come the word symmetrical isn't symmetrical? Why isn't it a palindrome?

star party
raddidge and I headed out to the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society's first public star party of the year. We saw most of the stuff that we originally saw back in February except the view was much better. I'm still surprised at how dark the skies are out here in Colorado Springs. I could make out Orion's head and the sword in his belt which raddidge claims will be the source of Earth's destruction on that fateful day in 2012. Our world will be cleaved in two pieces releasing a fledgling quetzelcoatl from the bowels of this rocky shell.
In Yer Dreams
There was a lot of snow. The kind of snow which is the fear of every driver in Colorado Springs. More than a foot deep and the brake is used more than the accelerator. Fortunately I came across a few patches of actual road in the snow so the drive wasn't an entire nightmare. I did discover that Canada had annexted Route 25. As a show of goodwill they had a parade of astronauts and elephants in the slow lane.

When I got off at my exit, I slowed down because there was something in the road. A little black and ginger kitten no bigger than my hand was stuck to the asphalt. I gently pried her from the road and brushed her off. Spot was in the car and took to grooming the new companion. Finally I arrived at the parking garage at the mall and got both cats in my backpack. Reckon the zipper didn't hold because a few steps later my backpack was one Spot lighter! I panicked, frantically searching for her. The little unnamed kitten was safe and asleep in my bag.

That's when I woke up and gently nudged my leg around where I found a sleeping Spottles. The rest of my rest was peaceful and uneventful much to my contenment.
