The wonders of an empty life. The greater part of Saturday was spent going through my mp3 collection, deleting bad or infrequently listened-to songs. Plus I renamed nearly every mp3 and wav file so it could be easily found rather than rummaging through lots of Song%20The%20Song%20.mp3 or 001-10.mp3 filenames. My task was rounded out by editing the file info.
raddidge's arrival was a joyous one. Seriously, I miss her during the week. Sometimes I just wish she was here when I got home so I'd have someone to talk with and regain some sense of being a human rather than being some tool.
On Saturday night we went to Charlie's Barbeque Pit which was really good. Sadly I didn't go hungry enough and ended up that I didn't clean my plate. For those of you playing along at home, I remain grotesquely obese.
Sunday will have a trip up to the top of Pikes Peak. Saints preserve me that I should survive the trip. I still remember how I got winded walking around at the Cheyenne Zoo. The zoo's only slightly higher than Colorado Springs's 6000+ foot elevation. Thank goodness Jaybird and maribou didn't live in Leadville.

Good night, sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite. Burma Shave.

almost forgot
Other tasks around the house, besides cleaning the litterbox and taking out the trash, involved downloading service pack #4, installing the various patches to take care of Blaster and Sasser and what-have-you viruses. Early on Saturday morning, I phoned Aetna to find a decent dentist in my vicinity but they were closed. Fucking Aetna only has hours amenable to people who don't have a job.
Fortunately the good folks at 800-DENTIST were on the ball and thirty minutes later I had a lead on a dentist who was on my plan and specialised in my current, shameful situation.
